Well, that’s pretty much it.
Tomorrow, September 20, opens the possibility of choosing a region and account transfer (WOT, WOWS, WOTB, WOWP). As previously announced, all players need to make a choice where to continue the game:
- On the RU-region, which is operated by Lesta Games;
- EU-region, operated by Wargaming.
You can postpone making a decision until October 12, but with the arrival of this date you will have to make a choice to be able to continue to play.
Please note that starting from September 20, in the RU-region (Lesta Games) payment methods will only be available for players from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. In other cases will be available to pay only in EU-region (Wargaming).
Based on the collected account data, the system will automatically give you a recommendation on which region your account progress will be transferred to. Both regions will keep the principles of pricing in the Premium Store, as well as provide a comfortable ping. On the Russian region we will continue to operate in Russian, and on the EU region we will add Ukrainian in addition to the usual Russian.
This recommendation is not mandatory, and you can choose a different region, if you feel it suits you best. In this case shopping in the Premium Store will be unavailable until you confirm your residence in the country of this region. You will be able to do this at the User Support Center.
At the same time, there are many factors to consider.
As of September 20, the WGC will ask you to select a region and initiate the account transfer procedure. (See screenshot 4).
You can also transfer your account in myAlpari (https://ru.wargaming.net/personal/ – at the very bottom).
