Transferring a World of Tanks account to Steam

Separate news for those who play WoT in Steam.

Account transfer is an important action: every player from the CIS-region will need to decide where to continue playing. Below you can find the key points of this process.

In September, the CIS-region will be disabled for Steam players. In addition, new players from Russia and Belarus will not be able to register a new World of Tanks account via Steam.
New players from the CIS, located outside of Russia and Belarus, will still be able to install World of Tanks via Steam and create an account. Such players will now be automatically redirected to the EU-region when registering.
If you already have an account in the CIS-region, you will be able to transfer it to the EU-region and continue to play through Steam.
If you don’t want to transfer your account to the EU-region, unfortunately you won’t be able to continue playing via Steam.
Providing high quality services and ensuring player comfort will always remain our priority. We will maintain your account progress and all applicable terms and conditions, including pricing principles and the core set of services you are accustomed to, regardless of where you continue to play.

We understand that you may have additional questions about the account migration procedure.
We will provide all the terms and technical details of the migration for Steam players closer to the launch of the process, which is scheduled for mid-September.
