Details of the new Arcade (Fun Random) mode in World of Tanks

On July 15 we launch Arcade – a new experimental mode. Battles will take place according to the familiar rules, but with unusual combat modifiers that change the standard settings.

Three launches are waiting for you – “Relsotron”, “Surprise Effect” and “Calm”. Each – with its own character and unique gameplay that can really surprise you!

How to find Arcade

In Hangar, select the “Arcade” sub-mode from the menu to the right of the “Engage!” button. When you hover over the sub-mode button, you will see what the combat modifiers will be in it. Be sure to explore them, there’s a lot to be surprised about!

First Run: “Relsotron”

DATES: July 15, 09:00 (MSK) – July 17, 23:59 (MSK).

The first Arcade launch will take place from July 15 to 17. Imagine you’re not in good old Random, but in the Battle of the Rails. Which means it’s time to take the Railsotron and show your opponents who’s boss! Take-down time, gun scatter, engine power and some other machine parameters will be improved by 50-100% at once. Even beginners will suddenly have a powerful hawk’s skill and accuracy!

In addition, the range of guaranteed enemy detection will increase to 445 meters. Opponents as in the palm of your hand: “X-Ray” and inflict targeted damage from long distances! Isn’t that a reason to feel like the king of the statists?

Second Run: “The Surprise Effect”
DATES: July 29 09:00 (MSC) – July 31 23:59 (MSC).

The last season of World of Tanks combat pass 2022

The second launch is called “The Surprise Effect” and will take place July 29-31. It’s 3 days again, which means another Friday with a boring weekend, but now with a completely different mood!

This time you’ll learn how random can be random and how powerful the surprise effect can be! Surprises are guaranteed: maybe someone will be lucky enough to knock out a hardened IS-7. And someone will give damage “for three kopecks” and go to the hangar hoping that next time fortune will turn around. As they say in World of Tanks, rely on your “skill”, but do not be offended by UBD!

* The exact parameters of battle modifiers for this submode you will learn later, shortly before its launch.

Third Run: “Tranquility”.

DATES: August 12, 09:00 (MSK) – August 14, 23:59 (MSK).

Once again, a dramatic change in combat modifiers, and with them the gameplay! From August 12 to 14 you will be enveloped in phlegmatic and skeletal “Tranquility”. There’s no rush, we load shells thoughtfully, and take a philosophical attitude to unprotected shells. In a sense, it will be a return to “those very tanks”, with measured gameplay and unhurried battles. Isn’t that a reason to feel nostalgic?

** Modifiers for this sub-mode we will also share later.
